MICHELLE WYNN

Owner

Michelle has been the owner of Virginia Dell School of Dance for 40 years. She is a 40+ year member of Dance Masters of America which certifies teachers nationwide. Michelle began her dance career at the age of 4 under the direction of Dorothy Warren Willard. She continued her dance training throughout Jacksonville and New York. In 1984, she began teaching for Virginia Dell Hobbs and took over ownership of the studio two years later. Her goal has always been to show students that even though dance is hard work, it can also be fun.

MEGAN WYNN CADWELL

Director / Teacher

Megan has been dancing at Virginia Dell since 2002, and danced on stage for the first time at 3 years old. She has been dancing her whole life and cannot picture a life without dance in it. Dance is an integral part of her life.

Outside of Virginia Dell, Megan was part of a competitive Hip Hop Dance Team at Fleming Island High School for 4 years, with 1 year as Co-Captain and 2 years as State Champions. When she moved to Orlando to attend college, she was accepted into the University of Central Florida Dance Minor Program.

At Virginia Dell, Megan joined Ballet Showcase in 2012 and had the honor of performing as the female lead of Princess Fiona in the 2016 Virgina Dell Ballet of Shrek: The Musical. She was a member of Ballet Showcase for 13 years. Some of her other favorite roles as a member of Ballet Showcase were Mad Hatter (Alice in Wonderland 2014), Genie (Aladdin 2019), and LeFou (Beauty and the Beast 2025). Megan started assisting in classes at Virginia Dell when she was in high school and began teaching her own classes in 2019, when she brought Hip Hop to Virginia Dell. Megan became the Jr. Assistant Director at Virginia Dell in 2022, one of the Assistant Directors in 2024, and the Director in 2025. Being the Director at Virginia Dell has been a lifelong dream for her and she is thrilled to step into this role. She is trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, acrobatics, and hip hop and loves to share her knowledge with her students and create unique dance routines that students love to perform. Megan has loved growing up under the dance instruction of her mom, Michelle Wynn (owner), and is thrilled to be following in her footsteps of teaching dance.

 

Ashley Miller Sullivan

Assistant Director / Assistant Teacher

Ashley is a Jacksonville native where her love of dance and music started early including her study of piano and flute. She started her dance training at Virginia Dell in 1994, at the age of 4 under the direction of Michelle Wynn. She started assisting at Virginia Dell in 2008 and has helped over the years in many different classes and skill levels. She has been in Ballet Showcase for over 10 years and also had the honor of being chosen as the lead of Peter Pan in the 2017 Virginia Dell recital. She is technically trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and acrobatics. She has danced multiple roles in both the Community Nutcracker under the direction of Beth Marks, Debra Peters, Dulce Anaya and Mark Spivak and with principal dancers Iliana Lopez and Franklin Gamero as well as The First Coast Nutcracker under the direction of Rhonda Stampalia. She has also performed the Gator Bowl parade and pre-game show, as well as Super Bowl and Hawaii Pro Bowl half time shows. She did competitive dance during her high school years and was a member of the Bishop Kenny High School Varsity cheerleading squad for 3 years where she attended numerous competitions throughout the southeast including national competitions. She also attended summer intensives and convention classes with numerous top national choreographers. During undergrad, she was a member of the Jacksonville University dance team under the direction of Scott Jones. Also, during this time, she performed in FCCJ’s inaugural summer musical production as a hot box girl and Latin dancer in Guys and Dolls (2007) and then as Lady Mabelle in Once Upon a Mattress (2008). She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2015 from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy Columbia campus and is a registered pharmacist in the state of Florida. After graduation, she then completed an acute care pharmacy residency and currently works in the informatics technology sector as a pharmacy manager for a national healthcare company. Ashley is married and the mother to two amazing little boys. She loves being part of the Virginia Dell family and sharing her love of dance with children at the studio where her dance career started.
